FVAC participated in the annual U.S. Marine Corp Reserve's Toys For Tots on Thursday, December 20, 2007. New York City Councilman Lewis Fidler hosted the event, in which over 3,300 toys were donated.

FVAC held its annual awards dinner on Wednesday, December 5, 2007, at Buckley's Restaurant.

19 current and 2 former members were honored for outstanding service.

Additionally, the results from our 2008 elections was announced.

The Flatlands Volunteer Ambulance Corp provided medical coverage for the 2007 Floyd Bennett Field "Fly In". This year's event also featured the Healing Fields Project in rememberance of September 11, 2001. Additional information and photos are available here.

Our new community ambulance, F5, was dedicated by FVAC members, elected officials and community residents, on Sunday, October 29, 2006.

The corner of Avenue N and Schenectady Avenue was renamed Bob Stonehill Way, on Friday, October 13, 2006, in honor of our First Lieutenant Robert Stonehill, who passed away in August 2004.

FVAC held its 30th anniversary dinner dance on Saturday, December 3, 2005. FVAC members, FVAC alumni, local elected officials, and civic groups, were recognized for their contributions to FVAC and the neighborhoods we serve.
