May 16, 2004 - SAFE Mutual Aid Drill
Some of what we did
Holding Area Officer
Lining up on Water Street
This was neither a group nor a package
"Well I'll be a monkey's Uncle!" (inside FVAC joke)
The John Line
Where we discussed the Vollies were segregated
Before we knew the FDNY vehicles blocked themselves in
Then we parked on Whitehall Street
And we sat on Whitehall Street
And we looked pretty on Whitehall Street
Some of us played with our toys on Whitehall Street
Then we went towards Battery Park
Then we evacuated the busses and saw the Attendance officer
But we made sure the busses were watched
Other people also played with the masks
We all got to wear helmets
At the "Hospital"
Patients were cured with soap, water and unripped clothes
Or left to heal eventually
The ambulance dock was full
The Fire Department got ONE board back (we'll do better next time)
